WAVE Chair

The WAVE Chair won the Good Design Award in 2006. The design team spent 3 years to develop this super light-weight wooden chair. In order to accomplish the goal of creating a collection of simple and sophisticated furniture suitable for both residential or commercial settings, the team went through an extraordinary number of prototypes until they reached the perfect design. 

This chair features an unusual combination of wood and two different types of mesh material to achieve the ultimate balance of comfort, aesthetic, and structure. The curvature and the texture of the two types of mesh created a special wavy visual effect, hence the naming of the chair. The maker paid special attention to the selection of material so that the beauty of the grain of natural white ash becomes part of the charm of this sleek chair.
