Marine Furniture Technique

Marine furniture needs to be extraordinarily sturdy while providing the maximum comfort and functionality for everyone on board. The making of these furniture calls for special techniques and know-hows. 

Our partner started as an artisanal boat interior and furnishing workshop in Nagasaki, the oldest international port of Japan. They applied the know-hows developed over the years to make beautifully designed home furniture, using the Sendan (栴檀, Japanese bead-tree) timber harvested in Nagasaki.
