The Seoto ("creek's sound") Chair won the Good Design Award in 2012. This chair successfully fulfilled what the designer set to achieve: a balance of beauty and functionality. To fully showcase the charm of natural solid wood, Kawakami implemented the sophisticated wood-curving techniques of the woodcrafter.
